I have had the pleasure of working alongside Briana Greer on the board of directors for Prince Rupert & District Métis Society for two years now. I am continually impressed by her dedication to furthering the health, wellness, and prosperity of Métis people and broader communities. Briana is always forward-thinking, maintaining focus on sustainability, social justice, gender equity, environmentalism, and the long-term impacts of her work, ensuring that benefits extend to future generations.
As a young Métis woman deeply involved in our culture and community organizing, Briana has proven herself to be an exceptional and trustworthy leader. Her experience, which includes being a Métis women’s representative, board director, and secretary for Prince Rupert & District Métis Society, as well as the Métis youth representative for Northwest BC, speaks to her reliability, compassion, and informed perspective.
Briana embodies Métis values in all her endeavours, and her passion for making a positive impact while maintaining good relationships at every level is truly inspiring. I wholeheartedly support her candidacy for the provincial youth representative position with Métis Nation BC, and I encourage Métis youth to vote for her in this election!
