- Current Residence: Living in Prince Rupert, BC, as an active member of Prince Rupert & District Métis Society, serving on their board as the previous women’s representative and now secretary.

Professional Experience
Métis and Indigenous Advocacy
- Secretary, Prince Rupert & District Métis Society: Managed organizational tasks and contributed to strategic planning.
- Regional Métis Youth Representative for the Northwest (Region 6): Advocated for Métis rights and representation at various forums.
- Guest Speaker, various national and international conferences: Represented Métis youth at the United Nations’ Convention on Biological Diversity and spoke on a panel there. Presented on Métis culture, environmental stewardship, and youth leadership.
- Jordan’s Principle Coordinator, Friendship House Association of Prince Rupert: Assisted First Nations and Inuit children in receiving the educational and health services and supports they needed.
Community Involvement and Leadership
Research and Teaching Assistant, UNBC: Supported the delivery of courses and taught tutorials within the Political Science and First Nations Programs, enhancing expertise in policy analysis and fostering an educational environment that promotes Métis cultural awareness.
Board Member, Carmen Art’s Board: Served as the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Director, ensuring that Métis perspectives are represented in community arts programming. Also served as the Indigenous Representative for Northern British Columbia’s Grad Student Society.
Leadership, Scouts Canada: Was a Scout from 5 years to 18 years old. Volunteered with younger sections, served as a regional representative and spokesperson for Scouts Canada, and represented Canada at the World Scout Jamboree in Japan in 2015. Received the Queen Venturer Award, which was awarded by the Lieutenant Governor.
